Youkai Watch #113 (and greetings!)

vlcsnap-2017-03-02-19h54m01s048

Fansubs out of nowhere after almost a year, everything’s all sparkly!

Get 113 from Nyaa!

Well it’s been a while since Youkai Watch has been picked up for subs, so we thought of taking up the task ourselves!

Fansubbing is a new territory for us two, so please forgive us for any mistakes in typesetting, timing, etc. that we may miss! This first attempt was rather smooth, especially with the 8 extra songs in this particular episode.

So here’s to more easy rides for the rest we may sub!

And since we are new, we HIGHLY encourage you to read our about and FAQ, as we have been already getting some questions and raised curiosity from people who have seen our subs.

– Noka

Translation Notes:

  • The ‘Mushy’ (dorodoro, どろどろ) part in ‘Nightly Mushy Hit Station’ can mean muddy, mushy, or sordid.
  • During the announcer’s introduction for Crazy Extreme Band, he actually says ‘their favorite word is filial piety’. Filial piety is a moral of respecting others older than one’s self, like elders or your parents in Confucian philosophy. Though that’s a bit of a mouthful, I chose to simplify it.

  1. DUDE!!! Thank you soooo much for taking over the Youkai sub!!! I’ve been trying to learn Japanese just to watch this show again but my brain is not built for the bilingual life I suppose.

I just can’t get into the English Youkai AT ALL.. I tried and it’s just so… watered down?

    Japanese Jibanyan is best nyan!
